Orange County Surf Forecast - for Tuesday - 2/2/2010

The surf will be on the smaller side for most of OC on Tuesday. The WNW-NW swell backs down a touch and the S-SSW swell backs off a bit as well. Look for knee-waist high waves for most WNW facing spots as well as the OK combo spots. The standout NW facing breaks and excellent combo spots will be more in the waist-chest high range with some rare shoulder high sets.

New WNW-NW swell starts to filter through the buoys later on Tuesday but doesn’t look like it will show much in the way of new surf before dark…but the afternoon sets might be a little more consistent.

Winds look good for the morning…mostly light and variable to light ESE. Winds shift more S-SW onshore around 10-12 knots for the afternoon. Chance of light showers developing overnight into Wednesday.
