Orange County Surf Forecast - for Friday - 2/5/2010

At this point OC isn’t looking that great for Friday…winds will be onshore for many spots thanks to new S winds brewing up in front of the approaching storm. The surf will be fairly small to start as well…mostly knee high with some inconsistent waist high sets for the average spots and only slightly bigger chest high sets at the standouts. New storm-swell W-NW energy begins to move in late in the day but won’t put much new surf on the beach until Saturday.
Winds and weather are looking a bit stormy with S-SE winds 10-15 knots showing across the county for the morning and then gusts hitting up around 20-25+ knots for the afternoon. Showers are expected to push south through the day.
